Kamal Haasan finds producer for MARUDHANAYAGAM

The phrenetic wait comes to an end. Kamal Haasan’s most ambitious project Marudhanayagam is likely to roll out from 2015 as Ulaganayagan himself has confirmed that his friend, who happens to be a producer based in London, has agreed to fund the project irrespective of the lavish costs at stake. Kamal Haasan has told this to a Tamil magazine as an answer to his late mentor K Balachander who had quizzed about the film’s progress.

However, there have been umpteen numbers of attempts from Kamal Haasan to revive the project in the last ten years, but nothing came close to fruition. While the frivolousness of this news is still under question, it provides a ray of hope for fans, ardent cinephiles and the entire film fraternity who are frantically waiting for Kamal to revive the project soon at any cost.
