Arulnithi’s ‘DeMonte Colony’ nears completion

Looks like horror films are the season of the Kollywood this year. With small films like Yaamiruka Bayamey, Pisaasu and star vehicle like Aranmanai having tasted commercial success, the awaited film in the fray is Arulnidhi’s DeMonte Colony helmed by Ajay, a former associate of AR Murugadoss. The film, based on the desolated real location De Monte Colony in Chennai, is in the final stages of shooting and will be wrapped up soon. It will enter post-production in January and the team is looking for a February release. It also marks the composing debut of guitarist Keba Jeremiah.

Arulnidhi is currently awaiting the release of Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum, a comedy film directed by Jaikrishna.
