Anandhi reveals her role in Kayal

Anandhi of Poriyaalan fame is awaiting the release of her next film Kayal directed by Prabhu Solomon of Mynaa and Kumki fame. Anandhi says Kayal is a God’s gift to her and talks about her role in a recent interaction. “My character Kayalvizhi is an innocent girl, a maid at a zamindar’s place. She does not speak much, but she conveys more through her eyes. For the past one year, I’m a changed person after working in this film with Prabhu sir,” says Anandhi.

When Anandhi started shooting for the film, she hardly knew five words of Tamil. Later, she learnt Tamil on a regular basis with great commitment and finally dubbed in her own voice for the film. Anandhi is currently working on Atharvaa – Sargunam’s untitled project, Vetrimaaran’s Visaranai and GV Prakash’s Trisha Illana Nayanthara. 

Kayal is all set for a Christmas release.
