Trisha joins Narendra Modi’s Clean India Mission

Trisha Krishnan is the latest to join Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission). Trisha was nominated by Samantha Ruth Prabhu who cleaned a government school in Hyderabad. Trisha duly agreed Samantha’s nomination and fulfilled her promise today by cleaning an upcoming animal welfare home near Tambaram. Trisha teamed up with the volunteers of Enviromentalist Foundation Of India (EFI) for the cause. An elated Dhanush tweeted, “proud of you Trisha 🙂” for her initiative. It would be interesting to see who Trisha nominates for the campaign from her K’town buddies.

“Miss. Trisha and her team of volunteers helped Team EFI clean up the upcoming animal home at Mudichur near Tambaram. EFI’s Animal home when fully functional from January-2015 will cater to sick-injured and diseased stray. Miss. Trisha participated in a large voluntary effort to clean up the upcoming animal home. A total of 19 volunteers cleaned the premise for over a period of 2 hours removing garbage. They segregated degradable and non-degradable waste,” says Arun Krishnamoorthy of EFI.

“We share this planet with all life forms and it is essential to live in harmony with them all, as responsible citizens it is our duty to ensure a clean and green environment for all life forms,” says Trisha.
