Bharathiraja plays himself in Sigappu Rojakkal 2

We earlier reported here that ace filmmaker Bharathiraja plays an important role in Sigappu Rojakkal 2 directed by his son Manoj. Now, it’s been revealed that Bharathiraja plays himself in the film. “I play myself in the film. This is not a sequel to Sigappu Rojakkal, which I made many years ago. It’s about a boy who is affected by watching my film. The story is very contemporary. What’s exciting for me is that I will work in my son’s direction,” says Bharathiraja.

According to Bharathiraja, Manoj has improvised the script a lot in accordance to the contemporary audience’s taste. Sigappu Rojakkal 2 features newcomer Visakan, who is boasted to be trained in Hollywood.
