Lingaa comes out with a victorious ‘U’ certificate; to release in 3000 screens worldwide!

As expected, Rajinikanth’s Lingaa comes out clean with a victorious U certificate from the censor board. The tax exemption for a massive film like Lingaa will be fruitful to the distributors and theater owners who crave for blockbusters. The film is likely to be released by Vendhar Movies all over Tamil Nadu, though an official announcement is awaited.

Classics Entertainment, the USA distributor of the film, is planning to release it in more than 200 screens. Lingaa is certain to set fresh benchmarks and create dazzling box-office records upon its release with nearly 3000 screens worldwide (Tamil, Telugu, Hindi). To add more excitement, the film will release on Rajinikanth’s birthday on December 12, 2014. AR Rahman is reportedly said to be giving nifty final touches to the film’s background score.
