Prabhu Solomon takes inspiration from ‘Life Of Pi’ for Kayal
Prabhu Solomon’s Kayal is already turning out to be technically strong and the director says Ang Lee’s Life of Pi inspired him to use Dolby Atmos technology for the film. Prabhu Solomon has moved the audience with his Mynaa and Kumki and claims Kayal as a tribute to the victims of the Tsunami, which took away many precious lives on December 26th 2004, on its tenth anniversary.
Prabhu Solomon says the sounds of the ocean in Life of Pi inspired him so much and he decided go for supreme quality sound mixing for Kayal, where sound plays a bigger role, especially in the last 30 min where there are no dialogues. Starring Ananthi and Chandran in lead roles, Kayal has music by Imman and the songs are already topping the charts across radio stations.
