KV Anand talks about Anegan songs and the film

Director KV Anand says Anegan has a variety of songs and each song in the film will have a purpose. The audio launch of the film is scheduled to happen today evening in the city. “Each and every number will have a proper intro or a lead scene to it. Harris Jayaraj has given a variety of songs. There’s a grim song, a kutthu number, a folk piece and a period Raja Rani number,” says KV Anand.

Regarding the meaning of the film, KV Anand says the ninth century poet Manickavasagar praises God as Anegan. The term also refers to a man with different shadows. We earlier reported you here that Dhanush appears in four different makeovers in the film including a school boy role. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film has Amyra Dastur playing the female lead and yesteryear actor Karthik in an important role.
