Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan to inaugurate IFFI?

While it was confirmed earlier that Amitabh Bachchan will attend the inauguration of International Film Festival of India, the latest buzz is that the invitation has also been extended to Superstar Rajinikanth requesting his presence to let the floodgates of world cinema extravaganza open. Sources say both Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan will be the guest of honors and will flag off the festival which is scheduled starts from November 20th and ends on November 30th.

This edition of IFFI will pay special tribute to the late British filmmaker Richard Attenborough, widely known for his Academy-award winning movie Gandhi. And, Kuttram Kadithal is the only Tamil movie to get selected for the festival under Indian Panorama section this year.
