OFFICIAL: Lingaa audio launch date confirmed on Nov 9th; Eros Music bags audio rights!
It’s official. The audio launch of KS Ravikumar – Rajinikanth’s Lingaa is scheduled on November 9th. After an invigorating album with Shankar’s I, all eyes are cast on AR Rahman, thanks to the legendary ARR-KSR-Superstar combo. The trio has outperformed themselves everytime when they assembled together earlier. Muthu and Padaiyappa are AR Rahman’s all-time classics and fans are gravely anticipating the album of Lingaa. This film marks ARR’s 7th straight album for Rajinikanth and second album this year for Rajinikanth. Incidentally, the audio launch of Kochadaiiyaan happened on March 9th.
And, Eros Music, who forayed into Tamil cinema with Kaththi, has bagged the audio rights for the film. The trailer or the teaser of the film is likely to unveiled on the same day of audio release. Meanwhile, the team has left to Macau today to shoot the opening song. Portions of the song will also be shot in the historic places in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Our report on the same here. The post-production work of the film will begin soon after the team comes back to India. Starring Rajinikanth in a dual role and Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty as female leads, Lingaa is scheduled to release on December 12th, 2014 to coincide with Rajinikanth’s birthday.
