Hansika is cute like Nadhiya, Revathy: Director Raja Sekar

Hansika Motwani’s next film Uyire Uyire, a remake of superhit Telugu film Ishq directed by Vikram Kumar of Yaavarum Nalam fame is progressing well. She is paired opposite yesteryear actress Jaya Prada’s son Siddhu in the film and will reprise the role played by Nithya Menen in the original. Directed by A. Rajasekar of Sathyam fame, Uyire Uyire is a light-hearted love story. Rajasekar has chosen Hansika for the role since the film demands someone who is lively and has a spirited screen presence and compares her with Nadhiya and Revathy, the reigning erstwhile lead heroines of Tamil cinema.

Hansika is currently busy shooting Vishal’s Aambala, Jayam Ravi’s Romeo Juliet and she also has few pending scenes in Simbu’s Vaalu. She is awaiting the release of Arya’s Meaghamann and Simbu’s Vettai Mannan. She has also signed Vijay’s upcoming film with Chimbudevan.
