Poojai is a triangular action story: Hari

Director Hari has opened up first time about his upcoming film Poojai starring Vishal and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. While it’s a given fact that Hari’s films mostly belong to action genre, where he differs is the treatment. “Poojai’s speciality is that it’s a triangular action story. Three parallel threads emanate from Coimbatore, Pollachi and Sethumadai — city, town and village — and converge in Patna,” says Hari to a daily.

Vishal plays a local money-lender and Shruti Haasan, a stylish Coimbatore girl. “Two problems crop up in totally different locations and affect one person, Vishal. How that person deals with it in his own way forms the crux,” reveals Hari. Poojai has been censored U/A and the makers are planning to appeal to the revising committee in the coming days hoping for tax exemption.
