Ranjith’s next is centered on the lives of tribals

Pa. Ranjith, an associate director of Venkat Prabhu, broke into Kollywood scene with the in-your-face Attakathi, a countryside romantic cocktail in 2012. Now, his latest film Madras, a socio-political drama, has opened to rave reviews across the board. The team thanked the press and media for their support for the film yesterday. Ranjith, while speaking at the event, revealed that his next film will be centered on tribal communities living in forests.

“Politics and youth are will always be two central elements in my films,” told Ranjith who is on cloudnine thanks to the overwhelming success of Madras. Ranjith is currently working on the script and the cast and crew will be finalized once he completes it.
