Nayanthara says ‘NO’ to fans to build a temple in her name

Amidst star-struck celebrities and pontificating actresses, Nayanthara is an exception. When a group of fans approached her to express their desire to build a temple in her name, she said a strict no and politely made them understand that she is just a human and cannot be compared or treated on par with god. The fans tried to persuade by saying she need not provide any monetary support for the support and all they need is her consent but in vain. However, she was in awe of their loyalty and appreciated their commitment.

Building temples for celebrities is not the latest fad in Tamil Nadu as fans have earlier done it for Kollywood beauties like Khusboo and few others. Nayanthara is currently busy with Udhayanidhi’s Nanbenda, Simbu’s Idhu Namma Aalu – which is under post-production, Jayam Ravi’s Thani Oruvan, Suriya’s Masss and a horror film titled Night Show.
