Ranbir Kapoor impressed by Jiiva in Yaan

Cinematographer-turned-director Ravi K Chandran’s Yaan is generating a lot of buzz online and everyone has been raving about the trailer ever since it was unveiled. The trailer has already garnered 1 million views in YouTube. The makers released a video song Aathangara Orathil from the film and it received good response from netizen. But, the latest to admire the film is Bollywood sensation Ranbir Kapoor, who has apparently showered praise on Jiiva to Ravi K Chandran.

“I screened Aathangarai Orathil song to Ranbir Kapoor. He liked Jiiva’s dance moves in that song and he was very impressed with the south star,” says Ravi to a daily. He also reveals that the film will have a lot of action woven into a beautiful romantic story and will be a complete entertainer. “There will be no comedian to tickle your funny bone; instead, the script itself will provide the humour,” says Ravi K Chandran.

Starring Jiiva and Thulasi Nair in lead roles, the film is likely to release on October 2nd via Dream Factory.
