The Sep 26 Battle: Karthi’s Madras vs Vishnu Vishal’s Jeeva

Karthi’s much-awaited film Madras is all set to hit the screens on September 26th. Directed by Pa. Ranjith of Attakathi fame, it has Karthi and Catherine Tresa in lead roles. The film is set in the backdrop of north Madras and the trailer hints an authentic thriller in the offing. Originally set to the release by July end, Madras was postponed to provide space for Suriya’s Anjaan which was slated for release on August 15th. Madras is produced by Studio Green and distributed by Dream Factory.

Vishnu’s Jeeva will also release on September 26th and will clash with Madras at the ticket window. It was only two days back, Vishal’s Vishal Film Factory acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for the film. Directed by Suseenthiran, Jeeva is a cricket-based story inspired from real-life incidents featuring Vishnu and Sri Divya in lead roles.
