Neil Nitin Mukesh dubs for himself in Kaththi

Neil Nitin Mukesh’s debut with Ilayathalapathy Vijay in Kaththi is highly anticipated, thanks to his popularity up north. Neil is right now shooting in Chennai and will be dubbing in his own voice for Kaththi. “It is a difficult work to dub in language that you are not aware of, but things are getting cool with the help of the director. When I was asked by the director to dub in Tamil I was stunned, No Way?  How Can I? But AR Murugadoss has given him ample support and time and has done it with ease,” says Neil to a daily.

He also added, I was concerned that it shouldn’t be artificial and I am a north Indian who speaks Tamil in the film. I had a tough time with the phrase “Irukka Koodathu” and have eaten two days of time for this on a laughing note. It’s worth bringing to your attention that even Vijay took earnest effort to dub for himself few Hindi dialogues in Thuppakki.

Kaththi has Vijay, Samantha, Sathish, Neil Nitin Nukeshin important roles. Anirudh’s songs are expected to hit our ears on September 18th and this much awaited film of the year is slated to release for the festival of lights.
