AR Rahman’s frequent collaborator Keba Jeremiah joins Anirudh for Kaththi
Renowned guitarist Keba Jeremiah has joined Anirudh for Vijay – AR Murugadoss’s Kaththi. Keba broke into Kollywood music scene with Sasikumar’s Subramanipuram when he was spotted playing guitar in a church by James Vasanthan. Since then, there has been no looking back for this young and talented guitar player. He rose to fame with the Hindi film Rockstar, a guitar-heavy album and also his first film with Rahman. It fetched him copious recognition from critics and music lovers. Since then, Keba Jeremiah has been a regular in all albums of AR Rahman – Kadal, Mariyaan. He also worked with Yuvan Shankar Raja in Billa 2.
Keba has collaborated with Anirudh previously in Vanakkam Chennai, Maankarate. He was also part of Anirudh’s Singapore concert which was held recently. “Recording guitars on a song for @anirudhofficial for #Kaththi .. Sounds insane !!,” tweeted Keba yesterday which made him trending in Chennai, thanks to Vijay fans. The audio launch of Kaththi is likely to be held on September 20th in London. An official annoucement is expected soon.
