Kaththi in trouble again
The association of Ayygaran International with Lyca Productions has landed Kaththi team with a flurry of oppositions from Tamil groups. Karunakaran from Ayngaran met political activists along with AR Murugadoss to explain that Lyca Subhaskaran has no business ties whatsoever with Sri Lankan President Mahinde Rajapakse, but to no avail. Recently, at the audio launch of Pulipaarvai, another controversial film based on Prabhakaran’s son, students from various colleges lodged protest seeking a ban against the film’s release.
The latest news is that all the like-minded political leaders, college students and Tamil groups are joning hands to form a new organization called Tamizhar Vaazhvurimai Kootamaippu (Confederation of Living Rights for Tamils). It will be headed by Vel Murugan. They are considering legal actions against both films in the court.
