Highlights of Sigaram Thodu Audio Launch

The audio launch of Sigaram Thodu happened today morning at Sathyam Cinemas. A bevy of celebrities including Kamal Haasan, Dhanush, Vijay Sethupathi, Sivakarthikeyan, KS Ravikumar, Parthiepan, Prabhu, director Lingusamy, Prabhu Solomon, Balaji Mohan attended the starry audio launch.

• Dhanush and Sivakarthikeyan sat together thrashing the recent rumors that there is a tiff between the two
• Chinna Thambi (Prabhu )and Periya Thambi (Sathyaraj) were sitting together and it seemed as if they were enjoying talking about their good old days
• Yesudoss said – “Imman is like his son” and the entire house maintained silence when the legendary singer was on stage to introduce the Appa sentiment song he crooned for the movie
• Songs visuals of Pidikkuthae and Scenu Scenu and the film’s trailer were screened. The trailer showed a glimpse of Sathyaraj and KS Ravikumar in police uniform and the crowd roared. If the trailer of the film is anything to go by, the story revolves around ATM robbery and credit card scam in addition to the beautiful portrayal of father-son relationship
• KS Ravikumar said he wanted to attend the audio launch only for Kamal Haasan because it’s been a long time since they met each other
• Kamal Haasan wanted to be a part of the event since Vikram Prabhu is “Enga veettu pillai”. His Uttama Villain shooting is currently going, so he rushed in to the shoot immediately after the audio was launched. He also said only two days of shoot left for Uttama Villain 
• Director Gaurav said Sathyaraj is his Tom Cruise in the film. Later, Sathyaraj compared Gaurav’s handling of the script is on par with Kamal Haasan in Virumaandi. Sathyaraj also confessed that he discussed the beauty of heroine Monal Gajjar with Prabhu when the songs were screened 😉
• Actor Sathish of Maan Karate fame revealed that he is playing Prabhu’s son in a film now. Sivakarthikeyan said he could not meet Sivaji Ganesan but he is so fortunate to act with Prabhu now. Both of them did not disclose the movie. It should be Taana (or Kaakhi Sattai?)
• Vijay Sethupathy recited his famous uncle dialogue from iDhaaba and said Kumudha is happy with the trailer
• Parthiepan admitted that he is not releasing his film KTVI to compete with Suriya’s Anjaan but to gain mileage. He said “If you don’t get tickets for Anjaan, please come and watch my movie. This is the same technique I used Kamal Haasan’s Apoorva Sagotharargal released, he said. He advertised for his debut film Puthiya Paathai then
• Dhanush said he attended the function for his gym mate Vikram Prabhu and praised Prabhu for the good upbringing

PS: KS Ravikumar didn’t speak anything about Lingaa. Sathish did not speak anything about Kaththi.
