Parthiepan’s KTVI to clash with Suriya’s Anjaan

The mighty clash on independence day is on. Originally set to release on August 1st, R.Parthiepan’s Kadhai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam was postponed to August 29th to make space for Jigarthanda and Sarabham. Now, it’s been preponed to release on August 15th to take Suriya – Samantha starrer Anjaan head-on. The reason may be because of the rush of films towards the end of this month including Irumbu Kuthirai and Salim. 

Featuring an array of celebrities includinng Arya, Vishal, Vijay Sethupathi, Amala Paul, Taapsee, Bharath, Shantanu, Srikanth, Vemal, Iniya, Aishwarya, Prakash Raj and Cheran, KTVI is touted to be a film without any story. An interesting clash of independence day is in the offing.
