Trisha on board Jayam Ravi – Suraaj’s untitled flick

We earlier reported here that Trisha is likely to be the second female lead in Suraaj – Jayam Ravi’s untitled film, which already has Anjali essaying the role of village belle. “Yes, we have got Trisha on board for one of the lead characters in the film,” confirms director Suraaj of Padikathavan and Marudhamalai fame to a daily. Anjali has already completed her first schedule for the film. Trisha’s first schedule is likely to commence next week in Pondicherry.

“As per the script, Anjali has been essaying the role of a rural girl and the crew has been looking for another female lead for a modern character in the film. Now, they have finalized Trisha for the project for which she will start shooting from August 10. Anjali has completed most of her portions in the film, with only a few scenes and a song left,” says a reliable source. Trisha will move on to Jayam Ravi’s film after her completing her schedule with Ajith – Gautham Menon’s Thala 55.
