Kaththi team has no allegiance to the Sri Lankan President – Vikraman

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Kaththi directed by AR Murugadoss, and jointly produced by Lyca productions and Ayngaran International, has been facing the wrath of pro-Tamil activists ever since its launch. Earlier it was mentioned that Kaththi producer Subhaskaran, a Tamilian was associated in business with the Srilankan President and that Vijay and AR Murugadoss shouldn’t continue the film. It was also stated that this act will surely hurt the sentiments of  Tamilians. 

AR Murugadoss had taken initiative to meet all the Tamil activists and the political leaders to clarify that Lyca productions and the producer have nothing to do with the Srilankan President and its Government. Now, the newly elected president of the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association (TANTIS) Mr. Vikraman has also made it clear in a recent interview that Kaththi team has no allegiance to the Sri Lankan President and given the much-needed clean chit for the makers.
