10 important takeaways from Dhanush’s Twitter chat with fans

As Dhanush is gearing up for the release of Velai Illa Pattadhari, he had a freewheeling chat with his fans on Twitter and answered a wide range of questions. The national award wining actor responded to questions on his career, singing for a Vijay film, his favorite movie, working with Goundamani and much more without any inhibitions. For those who missed to keep track of the actor’s lively chat, here is our list of ten important takeaways. Enjoy!

  • Dhanush’s next project with Balaji Mohan will go on floors from September. We earlier reported about this here
  • That Dhanush is a fervent devotee of veteran comedian Goudamani is a well-known fact. So, he said “Dying for an opportunity” when a wishful fan asked him about working with the legendary comedian
  • Dhanush’s favorite film with Selvaraghavan is Pudhupettai. Does any of you have a contradicting opinion on this? But, of all his 25 films, Kadhal Konden is the one which is always close to his heart. He says “it made me who i am today :)” We couldn’t agree more!
  • He recently twisted his ankle during Anegan shoot which is his most unforgettable injury!
  • No song made Dhanush so happy like writing lyrics for Amma Amma in Velai Illa Pattadhari. We gave thumbs up for Anirudh’s album with 3.5/5. In case you missed it, here
  • Dhanush is ready to work in a direct Telugu film when he gets the right script. CC: All talented Telugu filmmakers out there
  • HE is game for lending his voice for a song in a Vijay film. “Ketta paaduren :)” is his reply
  • Dhanush wouldn’t reveal whether Karthik plays the villain role in Anegan or not. He says “wait and see.” Albeit, good enough to conclude something, no? 😉
  • Dhanush is waiting for the right time to team up with his brother Selvaraghavan
  • Also, Ramana is Dhanush’s favorite film of AR Murugadoss. That’s a clever answer we think. Well played!

Honorable Mention:  You can expect mass entertainment from VIP according to Dhanush. Fans having a common profile picture on Twitter, Facebook on the eve of a film’s release has become habitual nowadays. When quizzed about fans’ common DP for VIP, Dhanush replied “theri … thanks for the love.”
