Sathuranga Vettai preponed to July 18th

Originally set to release on July 25th, Sathuranga Vettai has preponed its release to July 18th now. This is a good move from Thirupathi Brothers to stay away from the crowded Ramzan weekend. Already two films have confirmed their release for the Ramzan weekend, the long-delayed Thirumanam Enum Nikkah on July 24th and the much-awaited Karthik Subburaj’s Jigarthanda on Juky 25th.

Sathuranga Vettai might have to confront Dhanush’s Velai Illa Pattadhari only if the film gets censored this week. Produced by Manobala and directed by H. Vinod, Sathuranga Vettai is a full-length black comedy on the lines of Soodhu Kavvum. It has cinematographer-actor Nataraja a.k.a Nutty playing the lead role. Debutante actress Ishara plays the female lead.
