‘Nedunchalai’ Aari bags another lead role in a comic thriller

Actor Aari rose to fame after his terrific performance from Nedunchalai won him wide critical acclaim. It was only last week, he was signed up for an important role in Studio Green’s upcoming production venture, a horror-comedy which has Nayanthara playing the lead role. The grapevine is rife that Nayanthara plays Aari’s mother in the film. The latest news is Aari has signed on the dotted line to play the lead role for a comic thriller, Kadai Enn 6 directed by Sasidaran.

Debutante actress Sania Sheikh plays the female lead. “Sashidaran and I met four years ago to discuss this script. It was an impressive script but the project could not take off since we had other commitments.” The shooting for the film is happening in full swing in Chennai. Aari plays the role of a 25 year guy and has toned down his body to suit the role. Director Sasidaran penned the dialogues for Venkat Prabhu’s Chennai 28.
