Oviya to romance Sarath Kumar in ‘Sandamarutham’

The shooting for Sarath Kumar’s Sandamarudham is progressing at a brisk speed and the director A. Venkatesh of Aai, Chanakya and Mahaprabhu fame is looking forward to wrap up the film by mid August. The latest news is that Avani Modi who played the female lead in Naan Rajaavaga Pogiren is replaced by Oviya. Apparently, the former had demanded a huge remuneration which the producers Radhika Sarathkumar and Listin Stephen for Radaan Media and Magic Frames are not comfortable with.

Now, Oviya who recently had a super hit in Yaamirukka Bayamey has been roped in to play Sarath Kumar’s love interest in the film. She has already finished six days of shooting. The team is also hunting for another female lead for a pivotal role. The film is touted to be an action thriller laced with comedy.
