Sivakarthikeyan’s next stop is God’s Own Country

Directed by Durai Senthilkumar of Ethir Neechal fame and produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, Taana features Sivakarthikeyan and Sri Divya in lead roles. It is one of the much-awaited flicks since Siva and Sri Divya are joining hands for the second time after the duo’s highly successful Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam. The latest addition to the team is Vinu Damodhar, a trained actor who hails from Koothu Pattarai. Vinu plays a significant role in the film.

The team has already completed 40% of the shooting. Sivakarthikeyan plays the role of a police and Sri Divya plays a nurse in the film. The crew is heading to Kerala for their next schedule which is likely to commence in a week’s time. Escape Artists Motion Pictures has already acquired distribution rights for the film and is planning for a September release. Anirudh composes music for the film.
