“Prakash has a lot of love and respect for me,” says Ilaiyaraja

Prakash Raj’s admiration for Ilaiyaraaja is well-known and the actor-turned-director has also openly admitted the same in many interviews, concerts and reality shows. Ilaiyarajaa composed the music for his debut directorial venture Dhoni and also for his second film Un Samayil Arayil which releases tomorrow. He also composes music for Prakash Raj’s upcoming production venture which has ace filmmaker Mahendran wielding the megaphone.

When asked about whether he has any soft corner for Prakash Raj, the maestro says, “It is not just Prakash Raj, I have a soft corner for everyone. I can say this because even when directors who did not have an identity then approached me, I have worked with them and given them an identity. So, I have a soft corner for everyone. But yes, Prakash has a lot of love and respect for me. He considers me a guide,” candidly in an interview to a daily.
