Venkat Prabhu’s brand-new team for Surya’s next

When you glance through the filmography of Venkat Prabhu, you can’t help but notice the same names of technicians being scattered in all his films. But, not anymore. Venkat Prabhu’s untitled project with Surya will have a brand-new team with whom he has never worked before. The film produced by Studio Green will have RD Rajasekhar cranking the camera and Rajeevan as the art director. But, wait. Premji Amaren is still there who plays  a crucial role in this film too.

The film’s genre is said to be totally different from the films he earlier directed. “It’s a pucca Chennai film and Surya’s character will be one of its kind,” says Venkat. The project will go on the floors in July first week once Surya completes his dubbing commitments for Anjaan. When quizzed about Surya’s love interest in the film, Venkat Prabhu coolly says, “I’m thinking Nayan would pull it off perfectly.”
