Pooja refutes wedding rumors

Pooja won wide critical acclaim for her performance as a prostitute in Vidiyum Munn and that was also the last film we watched the Naan Kadavul actress on screen. Yesterday, a picture was being circulated on the internet and created a stir in Kollywood circles. There were widespread rumors that Pooja got married to a business man based out of Bangalore.

She has refuted the reports as baseless rumors and added, “Oh, so it’s started again? Two years back, the media got me married off to a Bangalore-based software guy which was baseless. And now again! Actually, it is a still from a film, titled Kadavul Paadhi Mirugam Paadhi, in which I play a guest role. The person in the picture is hero Raj and we both studied together in college. He is a good friend of mine. He asked me if I could do a cameo in his debut film and I gladly agreed. I shot for two days in Kochi for the film. Someone has leaked the still on the internet which was responsible for the rumors to fly thick and fast.”
