A bi-lingual on Rajinikanth’s friendship with Raj Bahadur to release

Rajinikanth’s friendship with Raj Bahadur, his long-time companion is all set for release as a bi-lingual film. Directed by Rushi, it will narrate the story of Rajinikanth and Raj Bahadur’s friendship. Raj Bahadur plays himself in the film and the actor who plays the role of Rajinikanth has been kept as a secret by the team to surprise the audiences. The film is titled One Way in Kannada and ‘Oru Vazhi Saalai’ in Tamil.

“The story will capture my relationship with the superstar since our theatre days. It will be about how our relationship has lasted over the years even though we’ve aged. I wanted to make the film with no references to Rajni, his name or photos but we couldn’t avoid it,” said Raj Bahadur to a daily.

“We want to keep the actor playing Rajinikanth a secret. Audiences can come to the theatres to find out who has played the role. We are not trying to cash in on Rajini’s popularity but use it to send across strong message to the society through the film,” added Raj Bahadur. Rajinikanth is thriller to bits to watch the film on the silver screen alongside his bestie.
