Sri Divya to team up with Karthi for Komban?

As Karthi’s current film with director Pa. Ranjith of Attakathi fame is still underway as an untitled project, his next film is with director Muthaiah of Kutti Puli fame has been titled Komban and the project is shaping up well. Sri Divya who impressed everyone with a neat performance in Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam opposite Sivakarthikeyan is likely to be paired with Karthi, says a reliable source.

Earlier, the team approached Lakshmi Menon but she could not accommodate dates for this project due to prior commitments with other films and studies as well. Veteran actor Raj Kiran plays the role of Karthi’s father-in-law in the film, tells a source. Karthi plays  the role of a happy-go-lucky rural chap and the film is tipped as a village based action entertainer.
