Vanmam to be wrapped up soon

Vanmam is an upcoming film starring Vijay Sethupathi and Kreshna in the lead roles. The film is directed by Jai Krishna, a former assistant of Kamal Haasan. Sunaina plays the female lead in the film. The movie has been predominantly shot in Muttam, a village near Nagercoil district. Bala Bharani has captured the lush green locations of the village beautifully, says the director.

The story revolves around Vijay and Kreshna’s contradicting characters. One is whimsical and hotheaded and the other is calm and composed. The music for the film is done by Thaman. “It is amazing to work with Vijay Sethupathi. More than co-stars, we have become best friends now,” says Kreshna. The movie is likely to be wrapped by the second week of June. The film is slated for release in September.
