After Santhanam, Vadivelu on-board Lingaa

Vadivelu’s camaraderie with Rajinikanth in Chandramukhi is one of the celebrated comedy sequences in Tamil cinema. After the recent news that Santhanam has been approached to team up with Rajinikanth for Lingaa after Endhiran, the latest is that actor Vadivelu who has made a lukewarm comeback with his Tenaliraman has been reached by KS Ravikumar. Last time when Vadivelu acted in a Rajinikanth film directed by KS Ravikumar, he left us all in splits. Muthu, it is!

“Vadivelu has been approached for the project. Things will be confirmed in a couple of days. He is likely to take up the project,” says Vadivelu’s representative from Madurai where the actor is currently hanging around. It is also said that both Santhanam and Vadivelu are approached for different roles in the film which transcends between two different time periods. However, there is no official word about Santhanam joining the team yet.
