Shankar’s favorite technician for Lingaa

Sabu Cyril is one of the favorite art directors of Shankar. He took care of the production design for two of Shankar’s big budget flicks like Anniyan and Endhiran. He also won his first National Award for a Tamil film for Endhiran. Apart from Endhiran, he has three national awards for films in other languages. Now, the ace art director has been roped in for Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Lingaa. It is reported that Rajinikanth expressed his willingness to sign Sabu Cyril to KS Ravikumar and the filmmaker duly agreed.

With the four-time National Award winner on board, the Linga crew looks formidable now. It has Randy who was the cinematographer for Endhiran cranking the camera and music by Oscar winner AR Rahman. Sreekar Prasad’s name is already doing rounds as editor for the film. Keeping in mind Rajinikanth’s health issues, the team is advancing at a mightily brisk pace to finish the project soon. Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi play the lead roles.
