How Vaibhav replaced Sivakarthikeyan

After the decent success of Damaal Dumeel, Vaibhav is happy with his performance and the satisfactory response given by the audiences and critics. His upcoming film Kappal is progressing at a rapid pace and the post-production works are underway. It is directed by debutant Karthik G. Krish, a former assistant of Director Shankar. The film is touted to be a rom-com and Sonam Preet Bajwa will star opposite Vaibhav in her debut film.

Apparently, Karthik had Sivakarthikeyan, Jai and Vaibhav in mind once he had written the script. But, he approached Vaibhav first and he was impressed with the story right after the narration. The audio launch for the film is scheduled for next month and the team is looking for a release date in June. Karthik worked with Shankar in two landmark films, Endhiran and Nanban and is eagerly looking forward to make his debut in K’town.
