Rajini’s candid statement on Vijay and Ajith

The much anticipated interview of Rajinikanth was aired today (April 14th) on Jaya TV as part of Tamil New Year day celebrations. The interview was hosted by actor Vivek who has acted with Superstar in films like Veera and Sivaji. The entire interview was a roller-coaster with Rajinikanth sharing some of the touching moments from his life. When Vivek asked him to offer a one-liner opinion on the current stalwarts of Tamil cinema, Ajith and Vijay, Rajinikanth was candid enough with his answers.

“I like Ajith’s frankness and his trait of being forthright and I quite like Vijay’s trait of being calm and composed,” said Rajinikanth. The fans of Ilayathalapathy and Thala have evidently been ecstatic on hearing this statement about their idols from our Superstar. Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan is slated for a worldwide release on May 9th in nearly 3850 screens.
