Vijay Sethupathi – Trisha to reunite for the sequel of 96?

There is a wild buzz spreading since morning that Director Premkumar’s next after the Super Hit Meiyazhagan will be the sequel of his maiden directorial ’96’. The Vijay Sethupathi – Trisha starrer was a Blockbuster hit and was widely lauded, loved and even the remakes in other languages also done.

Though there is no official announcement made yet, it is to be believed that the Director’s next will be 96 Part 2, where he is currently penning the script and the most loved pair of Ram & Janu to reunite again for this.

Govind Vasantha is said to be scoring music for this as well and to be bankrolled by Aakash Baskaran of Dawn Pictures.
