You can see a different VP in the writing of GOAT: Venkat Prabhu

Venkat Prabhu is one director who has not been afraid to try out different genres in his career, and in the same way, the director has tried a world class action thriller with GOAT. In a recent interview, Venkat Prabhu spoke about the film saying “You can see a different Venkat Prabhu in the writing of GOAT, for the first time I have tried a pakka out and out commercial film. We thought of cutting a 3 minute trailer to give a hint that it is a 3 hour movie, but that revealed the story too much. Everyone will be scared of 3 hour films, but this time you will not feel the lag. If people take their phone out, they might miss something.”

VP also hinted there will be many surprises in the film when quizzed about Ajith Kumar’s connection. So now the fans are speculating it might be like AK’s movie sequence showcase or a voice over of the star may come. Also, VP quoted there will be another parallel sequence in the film when dialogue of “The Lion is always a Lion” comes! The fan theory being exposed to this is, it could be MS Dhoni’s appearance as well on the screen playing for CSK in Chepauk.

GOAT is all set to hit the screens on the 5th of September, and the makers are excited to reveal the fourth single ‘Matta’ from the film this evening. The bookings for the film are on, and the excitement is slowly pumping up day by day. This Thalapathy Vijay’s penultimate movie is set to hit the screens worldwide in over 5000 screens!
