Santhanam’s comedy films always come across as fun ones to watch as time pass material, and his latest outing in Inga Naan Thaan Kingu is nothing lesser than that. The film offers a no-logic-full-magic entertainer that keeps the fun coming until the end, and director Anand Narayan ensures that the one-liners by the leads work well in it to tickle the funny bones of the audiences.

The film is based on a man who wants to get married, and how he goes to the extent of joining a matrimonial company to get his job done, despite his hurdle of having a debt of 25 lakhs on his head. In his path, he crossroads with a family of Zamindarian province, and gets married to a girl from the family. However, it is only later that he learns that a bigger weight has come onto his head, leading him and the family to more misadventures.

The film has been written without too much tension in mind, with the sole idea of getting the audiences to laugh every five minutes, and the team has somewhat succeeded in making that happen. The film gets into its groove in the first half very quickly, with the supporting cast finding form and enjoying their parts. However, it does drop its consistency in the second half, as the villain angle turns out to be a weak one, and hampers the film’s pace. However, the comedy does keep coming in here and there with a specific hospital scene turning out to be a fun one.

Santhanam is back to form with his one liners, and he keeps the ball rolling along with the rest of the cast. Priya Ubd and Thambi Ramaiah along with Bala Saravanan are the film’s best fits, and they manage to make us laugh from time to time.

Imman’s music is a big plus for the film with the Kulukku track being an extremely catchy one. The film is also technically neat.

On the whole, Inga Naan Thaan Kingu is a fun entertainer that works out as a cool time pass outing.
