Srikanth’s latest outing in Sathamindri Mutham Tha is a film that tries to be a thriller. The film has an interesting plot and does make an attempt to make an engaging thriller out of it, but its sensibilities and the reveal don’t help its case.
The film sees its lead lady fall prey to an accident, and what happens when a mysterious man finds his way into her life and then poses as her husband. This plot is interesting on paper for sure, but the way it is translated onto the screen is something that never helps the film. At a runtime of just 1 hour and 47 minutes, Sathamindri Mutham Tha could have really engaged the audience with a better screenplay, but unfortunately it is not present in the film.
However, Srikanth is quite comfortable in the role and he is able to pull off the part of a mysterious man to an extent. Priyanka Thimmesh plays the female lead and has a good role to play, along with Hareesh Peraadi who is the film’s important character.

Verdict: A basic thriller that gets its plotline held through.
