Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s next..

Actor/ Director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan who has appeared in more than 35 films in characteristic roles and directed critically acclaimed ‘Aarohanam’ is gearing up for her 2nd outing as director.

This project’s Cinematography will be by Balajee Rangha of ‘Onaayum Aattukuttiyum’ fame, Music is by Madley Blues of Sutta Kadhai fame, Editing by Sabu Cyril and Produced by Allianz Picture Productions

While talks are on for the male lead, the leading lady has been finalised as Pia Bajpai. Sruthi Hariharan, the heroine of ‘Lucia’, is doing a very interesting role in this film. Thambi Ramayya, Y.Gee Mahendran and A.L.Alagappan play supporting roles in the film among others. The film deals with an incident that happens on one day during a petrol crisis that rocks the state for almost a week. The shooting is scheduled to commence mid-March in Chennai, Malaysia/Singapore, Kumbakonam, Coimbatore and Pondicherry.
