Thunivu to clash with Varisu for Pongal 2023?

According to the latest reports in the industry, it looks like Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu will be clashing with Ajith’s Thunivu for Pongal 2023. Thunivu was initially looking at a later date but with the film’s progress going faster than expected, it looks like the film will be ready in time for the January 12th date.

Varisu on the other hand, will be wrapped up by October 27th and will get started with its promotional campaign from Diwali itself as the first single is getting ready to be launched for the festive season. With both the biggies arriving in theatres, it is going to be a celebration for the fans who will be lining up their excitement big time for the festive season.
