COVID-19 pandemic delays progress on Netflix’s Navarasa

When Netflix series Navarasa was first announced with Mani Ratnam heading an exciting list of directors, actors and technicians, there was a lot of excitement surrounding the same. However, things went off guard as some of the films in the series underwent changes with respect to their core members like actors, cinematographers and even directors.

And now, we hear that Netflix has postponed the plan of releasing the series in the third quarter of the year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown which has put everything on cold storage. Since there is not much progress on this project, the team at Netflix are moving towards their other projects which might hit the platform sooner.
