Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru gets selected for the Shanghai International Film Festival

After making its footprint in the Oscar library, Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru is now selected for the Panorama section at the Shanghai Film Festival, which is set to take place next month. The festival is scheduled to run from the 11^th of June till the 20^th.

Directed by Sudha Kongara, Soorarai Pottru is based on the life of the Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath. The film took the OTT route due to the pandemic, and is now available for viewing on Amazon Prime.
