Vijay Sethupathi’s Maamanithan gears up for release soon
Vijay Sethupathi’s rural drama in Maamanithan has been on the marquee for a long time, but has still not seen the light of the day. The Seenu Ramasamy directorial is now getting ready for a release in theatres, with the first song set to be unveiled on the 7th of this month.
Maamanithan is a rare occasion where both father Ilaiyaraaja and son Yuvan Shankar Raja have composed the music for a film together. Gayathrie plays the female lead in the film while Guru Somasundaram will be seen in an important role.
