Mohan Raja to direct the Telugu remake of Lucifer, starring Chiranjeevi

Last month, it was announced that Mohan Raja has walked out of the Tamil remake of Andhadhun and the Ponmagal Vandhal director Fredrick would be working on the project instead. As fans started guessing on whether the director was in the running for Thalapathy 66 or would start work on Thani Oruvan 2, the news has now come in that he will work on the remake of Mohanlal’s Lucifer, for the Telugu version.

Mohan Raja’s Thani Oruvan was remade by Ram Charan as Dhruva. With the film working out well in theatres, Ram Charan could have pitched his name to his father for the remake. The shoot for the same will start off next year.
