I wore blazer like friend Ajith since Pallavi Singh suggested: Thalapathy Vijay at Master Audio Launch
Speaking at the audio launch of Master, Thalapathy Vijay said, “Costume designer Pallavi Singh told me that I have not been wearing nice clothes to my event. So, she suggested this coat suit. Naanum nanbar Ajith mathiri varlam nu vanthuten.”
Vijay also revealed why the most anticipated event was held behind closed doors without any invitation to fans. “I feel really bad for my fans, who are missing out this event. It is mainly because of the incidents that happened in my previous event (Bigil audio launch) outside the auditorium. I accepted to this decision halfheartedly. I hope my fans accept this decision wholeheartedly. And, there are also the medical reasons (pointing to the Coronavirus outbreak), which we wanted to adhere to.”
Showering praise on Vijay Sethupathi, Vijay said, “He’s an invaluable asset to Tamil cinema. I used to keep thinking about what made him sign this film when he himself is in a solid position in the industry. I asked him one day. He said, ‘Ungala Enaku Romba Pudikkum’. Romba Nandri Nanba.”
Produced by Xavier Britto and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master also stars Andrea Jeremiah and Malavika Mohanan in important roles. The film is slated to release on April 9th and now sources say the makers are planning a new date because of the global pandemic of Coronavirus.
