Income tax officials question Vijay; Master shoot cancelled on Wednesday

After conducting searches in nearly 20 offices of AGS Entertainment for suspecting huge tax evasions, income tax officials summoned Thalapathy Vijay, who was shooting for Master in Neyveli, to Chennai.

The actor was reportedly brought down to Chennai for questioning by IT sleuths, who also raided the offices of popular distributor-producer Madurai Anbu. Reports suggest that officials will come out with an official statement only after a thorough investigation in all the premises belonging to the clients.

Vijay, AGS, and Atlee collaborated on Bigil, which pulled in more than Rs 300 crores in worldwide theatrical revenue and emerged as the industry hit of Tamil cinema in TN.

The shooting of Master got reportedly cancelled yesterday and the team is expected to resume work from today again.
